Our impact grows through people
It started with a microphone.
It grew into a community.
Thinking Out Loud began as a welcoming open mic where emerging artists could share their work, receive constructive feedback, and build connections. Over approximately ten years, that stage became a foundation for mentorship, creative development, and opportunities beyond the room.
More than stage time
Artists received encouragement and feedback on sound, stage presence, and professionalism. We have seen people from this community grow into respected leaders and entrepreneurs.
Support beyond the spotlight
Reinvested event proceeds helped provide studio time, artist retreats, travel support, and competition fees. During the pandemic, OLP GSO also provided financial assistance to artists facing economic strain.

Voices Unbound brings our experience with artist development to teens, connecting creative writing, performance, recording, mentorship, and wellness in a free workshop series.
Voices Unbound
From exploring a feeling
to sharing original work.
Across three consecutive Saturdays, teens move through Awareness, Ownership, and Empowerment. Small groups give facilitators room to listen, offer guidance, and help when the words will not come.

Create something of their own
With guidance from artists, educators, and wellness professionals, participants develop poetry, lyrics, stories, and performance skills.
Practice being heard
Recording and performance opportunities let youth practice sharing their work. Each cycle closes with a performance for family and friends.
